Default buying a b20z block with bad rings

is it a good idea buy this block it has 30k miles on it and it needs new rings it seems kinda fishy but whatya think

How was it determined to have bad rings? Compression/Leakdown test or is the motor dissambled? If your getting a really good deal then its not to bad, because you never know what might once you actually take the motor apart, unless you really trust the seller. If its an ok deal i would just fork up the cash for a good block or wait it out for another deal.

if you can... then WHERE?

200$ is a fair price as long as its problems are fixable... but you gotta ask questions get rid of the fishyness....
