McGuard locksnut instructions?
who would've thought one would need to read instructions to use those??
Anyway, reading the instructions it says explicitly to NOT use more than 1 lock on a wheel. Is there a reason why?
They also make a statement to secure the locknut LAST. Are locknuts somehow less secure than regular lugnuts? Or am I missing something?

because it comes with 4 locks... some people put them on without thinking one lock per wheel... last because you want to evenly ditribute torque on other bolts first
Directly from MCGuard themselves
"We don't consider the locks as a lug nut themselves. You don't want more then one on a wheel because it would be like only having 2 lugs" (in my case since i have a Si.

My friend has some HRE's on his supra. Trust me all 5 lugs are locks... and he doesn't have any probs. Just make sure you torque them to specs and re-torque them again after the 1st week. Dont get some (made in china or hecho in mexico) locking lugs. Kyoguyen (sp) lugnuts suck too... strip very easy.
I had McGard's until 2 of them decided to break off the ends when I was trying to remove them. Needless to say, I probably won't be buying any more of them anytime soon.
