There were also a million articles/posts/threads about the Kseries being impossible to go into an EG/EK. The aftermarket figured it out.
The question will be, ho many people are willing to spend 7 grand on an angine swap--not many, outside of shops.

I'll do it
but first I need a fit. I'm serious too. I'm alreayd tyring to sell my current built engine to get the money together to pick up a K-series motor.

I just had to correct my spelling--I just re-read and got horrified.

I'd love to see you get anywhere with a Fit with an RDX turbo swap. You'd have to start in frigging third gear to not spin the damn tires uselessly. And the weight is F/R 63/37 already I believe, dropping a big *** motor with IC in the front won't help handling any...

My Dist. Parts & Service Manager told me that they had over 300 hp on the RDX but the trans would not hold up.
They run 13.3 psi of boost.

wouldnt you be able to take the RDX longblock and run a DC5R tranny?
</TD></TR></TABLE>
No. That is a trans made for the RDX. THe new MDX will also have the SH-AWD on it as well. I believe that the new MDX and RL will share the same trans.

Actually, the short block and head are pretty cheep from the dealership from what I looked up at work. I think like $1500 for the block assembly and like $1100 for the head complete.
Just alittle info.

Yea, the engine is cheap, but with engine included, a K series swap into an EG runs about 10-12k if a shop does it and tunes it.
How much does a K24a2 from a TSX cost from the dealer? If it's comparable to the used prices they're fetching, i'll consider that for my swap

ive seen so many threads like this one. "k23 turbo rdx swap... der der der"
this happens to be the only one asking if the swap can be installed in a fit.
so the point of this 'technical' post was to say...... "this engine into this car would be cool, huh?"
yeah.
what if superman fought mighty mouse? no way mighty mouse would win, he's a cartoon..... superman is a real guy.
