Hahahaha! RDM! 'rice domestic market' pwns jdm!

I got them because I wanted something different. I actualy think they are pretty cool and really like them, they get heaps of attention! Ive had people asking me if its a lamboghini or a ferrari lol
This guy and his wife had a argument when I was at a pretrol station once, he was like its a honda crx! and shes like - no its not! look at the doors!

That picture is about 6 months old,

My CRX has had a complete jdm yO transformation, and is almost complete! yes .... the lambo doors have been taken off my apprentices
Mainly because they are just not practicle and get annoying,

The only before pics I have are of my crx with the lambo doors open, so basicly I want to get the 'before' pics posted now so I can get the flaming over and done with so it doesnt pwn out my 'completion' pics with everyone just focusing on the lambo doors that are no longer on it

Hopefully 1 1/2 - 2 weeks from now it should be painted, I am just finishing the prep work now, I cant wait!

But in the mean time .... let the flaming begin ...

what happened to your rear bumper? did you hit some thing or someone hit you? its would look better with 90-91 tail lights. thats my opinion

ehh, I never seen them on a CRX but I kinda like. The only thing I would change is that I wouldnt put it on a RHD CRX.

I already mentioned its getting a paint job, I dont think its a pile of ****, in my opinion

And the wheels are not yellow, they are a goldy bronze and darker, they just come out like that in the pic

Its not that bad, noobs seem to think that because it had verticle doors like lambos and ferraris it must be as fast as one

To be honest, I cant stand regular lambo doors. The only kind of verticle doors i would ever put on my car are the butterfly style doors the open only if you push them again when they are wide open. The look normal if you open them all the way so you can get into your car when its in the garage but then once they are fully open you can push them again and they "wing out".

Edit: Not gullwing doors but the "butterfly" ones lol

 

i dont have a problem with lambo doors but theres just something about them on certain cars,,like our cars,,that doesnt look right. if i ever did that i would put the door handle somewhere up like how it is on the viper or FD rx-7s..then shave everything on the door,,and go widebody,,,nothing crazy,,but something like the impreza widebody. and those stock mirrors got to go..

 

is there any how to articles on this for a crx?or is it just something you guys wouldent wana mess w/ and take it to the shop so u dont have to worry about the allignment and all that?

 

Depends if you get a bolt on or weld in kit. Im sure it can be done by your average joe in a weekend with help from a buddy.

My ones were a bit of a hassel, they are a bolt on kit, however when first put on the front of the door where the hinge bolts onto it stuck out to the side like 20mm, I had to heat and bend the hinge to get it to fit correctly. And you deffinitly need help from a buddy as mentioned

Its funny but over here these doors got alot of attention and everyone really liked them, well all the people that came and talked to me and/or stared when I was parked etc.

The only reason I took them off is because all it takes is someone to try to open them like a normal door and they wil bend the fender. It sucks with passengers ... there is abit of technech to opening them and because its not like getting in and out is practicle.

IMO it looks pretty cool...lol when i read the thread title i swore it was a joke and just had to check it out...its not something i personally would do,but it looks pretty cool...id never be able to fit through those tiny openings though

 

it doesnt look bad however it must be very uncomfortable getting in there
