Default DX to ZC Swap

My other thread stated I got a free CRX with a ZC motor in it.. SOME of the wiring was not finished.. it's on the drivers side fire wall almost....

I've got 6 wires... and I got 11 wires on a prong that i need to wire together I'm assuming..

My 6 =
light blue
yel/black
red
blue/yel
yellow
brown

11 =
orange/blu
grn/blk
yel
yel/blk
yel/blk
yel
red
grn/yel
blk/yel
blu/yel
white

I'm still doing searchs but any help would be great as it's actually not raining outside and I want to get this done.

No clue.. I got the car as is.. buddy is going outside to see where the wires go to....

I was hoping someone who has done the swap before would be kind of familure with what wires I am talking about..

It's quite confusing working off someone elses stuff.

Bump bump, I think we got most of it wired up correctly... There is a yel/blk coming off the injector resistor box... anyone know where it goes?

are the 11 wires on the chassis side and the 6 on the engine side? if so, your car is a DX and sounds like it has the ZC engine harness on it (either that or 88 Si) - whatever, that isn't going to work - you need to get a DX engine harness and do the DPFI to MPFI wiring changes to it - the 11 pin connector on the DX chassis harness has wires for only 2 injectors - you need 4 - the other 2 are part of the wiring changes for DPFI to MPFI - the DX chassis harness connector at the passenger side also does not have wires in it for the Cylinder position sensor in the distributor - also, wires that are added for the DPFI to MPFI - the white wire in the 11 pin is for the igniter and this wire is also on the passenger side of the engine harness - same way with yellow/green which is for the cooling fan - the DX and Si or ZC or HF harnesses are not interchangeable

So the 91 SI harness is not interchangable.. I have a 91 SI that I was jus gonna swap the wiring over and do all the stuff myself.. since it's hard to redo someone elses work...

the car is a DX, correct? if so, you need a DX engine harness - the 91 Si harness would be the same as the one with the 6-wire connector that you now have, except it would have a round 8-wire connector at the same location (the 2 additional wires are for the Si Fast Idle Control Valve) - everything else would be the same - from what i gather, your chassis harness is still intact, is that correct?

Well - it's weird... The wiring in the car is from a DX... it's all hacked up and what not....

We are gutting my 91 SI anyhow so we snagged all the wiring from it ... and swapped it to my 89 DX that has a SOHC non Vtec ZC in it....

What mods do I need to do to make it run with the ZC.
