i have a 97 teggy and my check engine light is on..i checked the emissions and the code p0303 came up. i changed my plugs and wires, checked injectors and changed o2 sensor and light is still on...anyone help???

 

my check engine light is also on. it threw me code #9 which is cylinder sensor. i have no clue what that is, but i got use to the light being on.

 

Lol. Be like homer simpson and put some black electrical tape over the CEL, that was hilarious. Awwwwwww expletive it.

Your P0303 is cylinder 3 misfire detected code. Now lets go over your diagnosis and see how you got to where you are now.

Did you erase the code after you replaced those parts?
Did you check to see if your getting spark from that particular cylinder wire(3) yes/no is it weak?
Did you perform a compression check to see if you have a burnt exhaust valve?
How did you check your injectors?
What brand did you go with on plugs and wires ?

Code 9 cyl position sensor(ckp) is a sensor inside your distributor that provides the computer with position for timing . Basically you need a new distributor or if your savy and have lots of parts, swap guts with another dizzy you have laying around like i would do : ).
