i have a 97 lude base, its an auto. my idea was to swap the tranny on to manual. Then sell the automatic one. i was wondering if any one new a link or the parts i need to the the swap..and the costs...im planning on buying the parts through out the next couple of months, so any help will be appreciated....thanks

 

Welcome to Honda-tech 97preludex1. Yeah just search, theres tons of info out there, search in archived. The parts u'll need are... Manual tranny, manual set of pedals, clutch lines/master and slave cylinders, diff half shaft/axles, diff tranny mount/bracket, shifter. I think that's it, but try searching, if u need more help I'll find a link for u.

just did my swap from auto to stick best money ever spent i bought a front clip of a type-s prelude changed my whole engine and tranny and didnt have to go threw the hassle of looking for so many parts have a white hood left a right hand steering dash w air bags and l/r fenders w signal lights in the fenders i spent 5200 on the clip you might spend close to that with labor good luck
