ok the prob may be associated with vacuum lines or intake manifold because i only noticed these probs after messing with this stuff, ok let me describe this, car seems to run funny the most during midday when its really hot. sometimes mornings. every now and then, the car with have a fluxing idel from about 300-1000 rpm's or so. but the main prob is, if i stomp the gas and get to about 2k rpms its really jerky and bumpy and my car staggers untill it reaches vtec and every magically clears up perfectly. but not only was that a prob here. but recently to addition to that i can here a bump bump bump noise really fast from the motor while the prob is occuring, its a hard noise to describe its deep and low tone but fast, almost like a sequence of fast firecrackers, but not loud like one, but as if i was hearing someone beat on a wall while i'm on the other side. is this detonation? bad timing? any ideas would be more than appreciated cause i'm disgusted with this,

what exactly did you mess with???

check whatever you messed with and make sure its ok

 

well i was trying to install an aftermarket intake man but it didn't fit the stud bolts so i put the factory one back on, i have repeatedly checked the sensor plugs and i assume there alright. maybe that iavc vacuum box thing? could be that? but would that cause me to hear some kind of backfire or detonation or whatever?

 

Chck to make sure your vacuum lines were put back correctly.
