Hi, I bought a VAFC II and I was wondering if I can reset all the data, like put all the settings to default. I read the whole book but it doesnt say anything.

Obviously you didnt check out page 59 of the instructions. Menu 3, then option 10. That being "etc" and then "Initialize"

http://www.apexi-usa.com/pdfInstallation/41.pdf

Scroll down to page 6/59 if you need more help.

Yeah I know, I'm trying to fine tune it...but I'm pretty new in the world of tuning so I just dont wanna expletive anything up! I was wondering if anyone would have any idea of specs to put it on for my GSR engine with... Skunk2 IM and Top Fuel intake...

Its impossible to tune it without a wideband 02 sensor and/or knock viewer. Some people will say lean it out a bit, some people will say to add a little fuel for the mods and others will say that the mods will cause a change in the pressure reading from the MAP and that the stock ecu will automatically correct. The only way to know for sure is to get a wideband and preferably on a dyno. Generally you can spend $75/hr for a dyno w/ wideband (tail pipe sniffer) and play with it there (Ive seen people pick up 15-20whp in an hr w/ a vafc). Its nearly impossible to tell wtf is going on without some type of device to tell you whats happening when you make changes.
