Default oh, snap... i broke it all

I was puting my front wheel back on, and one of the bolts just snaped, i figure ok, i can fix it later, should be fine to drive it like this for a day. So then next bolt to it, snaped to, when i tightened it. I was kinda shoked. So i wanted to fix it, and try to take it all apart.
Well, then i tried to undo the bolts that hold the caliper braket, they came right out with the threds, that were inside of the braket. Then the bolts that hold the caliper broke too. Only the top one actually.

I should be able to fix it tomorrow, if ill find parts quick.

long story shot, for the future, how can i tighten the lug nuts so i dont break it. Just with the normal wheeel wretch??? about 2.5 feet long( pretty strong too)

sorry to keep this long

did this happend to anybody before?

If you go over 80ft.lbs. on the lugs you will snap them. Plus you might crack the rims too.
Yes it is the same for stock alloys and aftermarket wheels.

stop using STEROIDS....
Have fun with those bolts.
Junk yards should have plenty of bolts.
but for the wheelstuds get new ones.

my wheel wrench is a foot long and i never broke anything. yours being 2.5 feet might be a little long and you are applying too much torque

wtf
2.5 ft!!!!!!! no wonder you are snapping things
are you using your Hummer tools??????????????????????

why werent you using the honda wrench that came with your car??????(16" or less)

it will torque just fine bout 1/8 rev with foot after peak hand torque and you are good to go

should hear a couple a pings as it seats THEN STOP
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!do not go past 1/4 rev after hand torque!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

unless you are michael J. .... then get a M A N to help
