stripped exhaust manifold threads
One of my exhaust manifold bolt-hole threads has the slightest stripping right at the start of the thread.
Will a tap and die fix this?

It's the threads in the head itself.
I plan on using loctite either way, my new head should be done relatively soon. I just wanted to do if a tap and die is what I need?

Edit: Ran over to Sears and picked up the Craftsman Master Thread Restorer kit. Great product, very complete and fixed the situation without any aggravation. Was instructed by the salesman at Sears to not use a tap for this being the tap may start cutting into the existing threads.

As I said, it was really painless. Overall I hate Sears, they're staff usually sucks. But I had a really helpful salesman this time around, and actually learned a bit from our conversation.
The thread-restorer kit essentially cleans-up any nick or damage to the threads, while pulling the scraps out when you reverse it. I did about 4 passes with the tool using cutting oil, increasing it's depth each time. Finaly when I felt the bit bottom-out, I backed it out fully, and did one last pass. Worked absolutely perfectly
