Default Xm Radio Alternator noise...

So just as my title states im getting alternator noise throught my XM radio, and XM radio only...i have a panasonic head unit and there is no noise in that (alterantor noise that is)...Just my XM....Its one of those universal moduals for "XM ready head units" so my head unit is the controler for the XM...its not one of those FM modulator xm things........NOW to what i have tried....i tried moving the whole module to the passenger side of my car away from my subwoofer power cable, no such luck.....i bought "tripple shielded" RCA's and there f'ing huge....the RCA's are running as far away from any power wires as i can get them....any other trouble shooting tips for me? anyone have this problem and fix it?
Thanks in advance

Radio shack has a small noise filter that is nothing more than a coil(transformer) & capacitor to filter out the Alternating current that's present in the car's power system (small component). Wire it in line with the XM radio's power feed.

hook the power and ground wires up to the power and ground in the radio harness. if its still present put a noise filter on the rca's.
