Default B18A Not Starting

K so here’s the story. The car died while I was driving it and I pushed it all the way home it was far as hell. The first thing I did was check for sparks and it was not sparking but when I hooked jumper cables to another car the car started right up…I already replaced the distributor cap, New fuses, checked for loose ground (I’m going to double check for loose/ corrosion ground again), new spark plugs, changed my starter that I had in my room, and a new alternator. I know for sure I needed a new alternator because I took my old one to auto zone and got it checked and they said I had a fried alternator and a low battery so I charged the battery and installed the new alternator and the car still doesn’t start. Anyway can any of ya’ll give me some suggestions before I consider taking my car to a mechanic that’ll cost even more money. This is by far the biggest no start problem I have ever encountered.

does it just turn over?
if it just sits and turns over without spark, then a common issue is the ignitor
it is inside the distributor so either buy a new ignitor and stick it in, or buy a new distrib.
thats my best guess atm

so does anybody know if this will work or not? A crx zc distributor ignitor installed into a b18a1 distrubitor i did install the zc ignitor my self and it fits fine but my car still wont start.

and does anybody know the answer to this. my car would only start if i got jumper cables connected from another car it would start right up and drive just fine until i decide to park the car then it would not start anymore i got it jump charged a few times but after a few times my car would not start anymore after hooking on jumper cables i think i might of fried something im thinkin the alternator/starter is that how i fried my old alternator?

cause a week later i got my alternator checked and it was indeed fried so i got a new alternator and i found out my battery was low so i got that charged.

Ignitors seem to be a common problem with our cars.
