Ahh... things keep getting worse. What started as a 5th gear only grind, is getting worse. Sometimes, not always, getting into gear is much harder now, noticeably notchier in all gears now =| . I have grinded 2nd once or twice w/ the clutch fully in (I was certain), not sure why it did that.

Also, when the engine is at high rpms, the shift lever shakes pretty badly if i just move it right/left from neutral position. Is it supposed to do that? Could misaligned or bad tranny cables be causing all of my troubles?

Should i actually have the tranny yanked apart?

Or could it be the clutch?

Ahh, gimme some ideas/possibilities people.

change the fluid to redline mtl or bg synchroshift, that will cure the grinding

 

oh yea, forgot to mention, the fluid is good.
