Default DIY red valve cover (dial up-suck ***)

well i didnt know exactly where to stick this thread so if it gets bitched at ill post it some where else, so long day with great results. decided to paint my valve cover this week and with the help of some friends it came together very well today, got up at 10 met d-rob at the shop then we began disasembaling the valve cover
once off we began prepping for paint i wanted an O.E. look so i got some wrinkle finish paint for the first coat and it worked amazingly the first couple coats went on and it looked bitchinnow i have a blue/silver theme going through my whole rsx so i figured i would go with blue becuase lets face it the k20z1 is no k20a, well mr. d-rob said why not jdm red so i thought about it and i gathered the opinoins from other people and it made me decide on red so we laid the first coat down and i knew i made a good choiceonce done the damn camera died so no finishing touches pictures, so we sanded the honda motor co logo and i figured untill i order the spark cover why not do somthing nice with the stock one ( wich looks like ***) so we cut the stock one like the JDM one and painted it silver not too bad so once done and put back in the car i went home and took some finish pictures and im heavily satisfied, as soon as i can the jdm spark cover will be ordered so rest assure d-rob that the dc5 logo you dislike will come off hahathoughts anybody?

Resize your pics, and hit "Enter" a few times in there somewhere.

Anyway, yes, 'twas fun.

I still say it looks better without the manifold cover on it.

at least you've got some better pics up. you should get rid of some of those huge *** ones or resize them. You do know there is Krylon Wrinkle Red paint though right?
