CAN A MSD IGNITION SYSTEM BE DONE?

ive only seen it done once, i think venom or something like that converted a d17 to run a distributor. but with a direct coil on sparkplug system, you can't really improve on that too much. you can get the plasma boosters or something bizarre like that for an insane amount of money and get absolutely no results from them. just leave it alone. stock works fine.

Pretty much anything you do to the d17a2, will not be worth the money spent to get it there. Save your money, and get turbo or a K-Swap.

The stock d17 ingition system will pretty much handle anything you throw at it, short of alot of boost.
