swap A20 (carbureted Accord) into carbureted 86 civic
Please let me know all thats required to swap an 87-89 carbureted 2-litre Accord (automatic) into an 86 carbureted 1.5-litre civic (automatic). also please email me at waughrichard@yahoo.com as well as posting here
Go to redpepperracing.com and ask them. They specialize in the 3rd gen (84-87) Civics and 1st gen CRX's (84-87). I've been a member on there for awhile and have never heard of this being tryed. Maybe you should look into a carbed ZC motor.

Of course, I don't know the op's plans for the motor exactly, as far as keeping it stock or doing some crazy **** to it, but if I remember right those blocks are much stronger (iron sleeves I think) than ZCs and D series.

they re no iron sleeved, they are totall iron blocks. the thing is they use some really weird mounts.
there is no mount on the tranny, they use a crossmember mounted mount under the engine, a timing belt mount, a front crossmember mount, and a weird *** mount going to the firewall.
