Default Any Tips for the track?

I was thinking of taking my old basically stock Accord up to the local 8th of a mile drag strip. It's an auto so I plan on launching by using the brake and letting off it althogh it really doesn't seem to launch hard like that at all. Another thing I was thinking of doing is running some octane booster in the gas. Will that help any? Any other things I should do to have it ready? Any idea how long the yellow lights before they turn green are? I mean is it 3 seconds from when the first yellow light lights up? I am never sure how long it will be before it turns green after the yellow so I never get a good reaction time. I guess it's because I'm a noob at it. Is it a set time or does it vary?

launching with your left foot on the brake and foot on the gas is gonna be the best bet to launch. octane booster is not going to help you for several reasons. leave the line when the last yellow bulb lights up and you should be set

Yep, just hold the brake and gas at the same time and let off the brake on the yellow is about all you can do. My old CL used to shift shy of the rev limiter, I would shift it manually.

It's not bone stock but not a lot done to it. I don't know a lot about the engines on these things. I'll admit it.
