Saw this at work today.... these cars come equipped with air-ride suspension so I guess it must have given out on this s500.

Talk about hardparked! Sorry for the non-honda content... but who doesn't enjoy supreme dumpage!

There is actualy a problem with all of the 2001-2003 (i think) S and Cl cars. The air ride system actualy has a fault in the program. I worked for MBZ for a few years, and actually drove a few cars that low over speed bumps.

no. The car is equipped with air-ride suspension from the factory, and it gave out. I thought it looked pretty sick, so i decided to post pictures. It will be even lower probably by the end of the day.. so maybe i should have waited till then to snap some shots.. but anyway, that's the point of my post.

Basically my point, this HAS been a problem with S-Class MBZ for a long time. Nothing new.

I understand your post...I agree, I think they look way better after a while when **** has given out.

I know they adjust ride height automatically lowering it at hwy speeds, and you might be able to manually adjust height

are you sure the air ride has gone out? from the factory they come with about 1/2"-3/4" electronic adjustment, plus Lorinser offers a sport lowering module for the airmatic suspension that will allow it to go that low. More people than you would think buy this option, and i'm a dealer Lorinser.
