bought a car with clean title then went to DMV they told me its salvage(bought from some guy from here on HT) and the previous owner never claimed it

What kind of inspection do they do on that? my car is lowered so it will probably not pass the light inspection right?
or do they mean the BRAKE LAMP in the dash?

 

lowered cars will generally not pass inspection, it's very sketchy depending on how low/camber of wheels.
