Default ecu

So, i'm having problems with ecu decisions, I'm hearing lots of mixed opinions on whether or not a p30 ecu will work nicely with my stock ls/vtec build. Any Guidance would be greatly appreciated.

chipped p28 is the best...you can make a tune for your own motor...can always convert to hondata later

i understand that, and i have a virgin p28 right now, but i want to want to use it for when i go turbo. i dont want to tune as little as possible. so basically would a p30 ecu work for the time being?

no thats not me, and i saw that thread earlier, and thats what really got me thinking infact. i know my pr4's are significantly lower comp. than p30's which is why i was wondering. does anybody know what kind of compression ill be running with my pr4's?

damn, i found a calculator, and it said about 10.3:1, thats pretty high, but the p30 is almost the exact same comp. ratio, in fact a little higher, so shouldn't i be ok?

lol no joke, they never made an ecu for ls/vtec. i think it'll be ok for as mild of a build as it is, and if worst comes to worst I'll use my vafc-II for a little while to help out the p30 if it really needs some advanced fuel maps.
