my friend is wanting to do a auto to manual swap on his 99 civic ex. i know that all d-series work with d-series engines, but will a cable transmission work on his civic? (ex crx si tranny) srry if this is a noob question

 

ok if anyone tells u yes it will, turn around and walk away from them. cause when i done my eg b series swap i was told it would. so i tried it and needless to say it will never work. even if u could make it work the speed sensor would never work. and it is useless when u can get a d series hydro tranny for next to nothing. actually i have one for sale right now.

 

LOL I feel the same way ever since i did the same swap. What was i fucken thinkin. With the money i spend i could of gotten a hydro but too late for that..
