Sometimes when i take my car to redline 1st through 3rd gears and then clutch to slow down, I can smell something like fuel or maybe clutch (i have sinus problems) but it is not supposed to be there. How do I diagnose or am I just using too high an octane?

 

does it smell like gas or something else burning?

 

its carbon from your exhaust it happens to all crx's i know of. its not hurting anything

 

yeah thats right... cause if you let your car warm up and there is no wind and you idle there with door open for like 1 min youll prolly smell the same thing

 

and if you buy a cheeseburger and eat it half way, and leave it in the car for a week with the windows up youll smell it after a week of leaving it in the car for a week...

 

smells like wet cat and feet.
