Default Does anyone know about the "plug" in the front bumper?

On the passanger side there is a color matched plug on the front bumper. Is this a cover for a tow spot on the assembly line or what?

Yes sir this is indeed the tow hook. Instead of towing your car from the hooks under the vehicle and risk damaging your bumper, you can just pop off that plug and screw in ur tow hook (that you should have gotten from the dealership).

My dealer made a point to tell us that they are the *only* way to safely pull the car (ie: out of a snow bank or onto a flatbed). There are two; one in the front and one in the back, and inside the little black bag with the spare isthe screw-in hooks that you use.

As Kevin pointed out, trying to use the hooks under the car could cause damage and, so far as I can tell, are only used to secure the car when shipping in on the transport from the factory or where ever.

To be safe, ask your dealer for sure.

You're all wrong. It's an access cover to a power control **** that is set to "2" and has a max setting of "11". Turning the know to 11 will boost engine output to near 180 hp but it will void your warranty. Honda will turn up the **** in future model years and reap huge returns for little or no extra cost.

Thankfully, I have an aftermarket **** that you can purchase from me for $100 which will look like it's set at "2" but is actually set to "5". Write me for pricing on ***** set to "8". Currently, we are evaluating a **** set to "11".
