Default tranny poping out of gear & noise

i just intalled a new isb and put tranny bakc in car.

on test drive it was making some weir whining noisees in 2 3 & 4 . mostly in 4 though

it also will pop out of gear in 4 and only makes the noise with anykind of acceleration.

what could this be?

while the tranny was apart i didnt mess with 2 3 or 4.

i messed with 5th to check the syncro but 5 works perfect.??????????????

well i took the tranny apart and what i found was that the other main bearing is now shot!! a piece of metal got ino to from the old bearing. i could not believe it

where the hell did it hide i spent about 2 hours cleaning and stripping the old gasket ****.

well... i also think that i have found my prob. the main shaft seems to be siting up about 3/32 to high. i believe i installed the spring and reg. washercorrect. so either:

the bearing did not seat correctly.

the washers are wrong. (dought it would make it off this much)

or the counter shaft is sitting to low.

any advice would be much appreciated.

i think that the shafts will be aligned when the counter snaps into the c clip. but i think i might have found the prob. my dumb *** put the main rear bearing in upside down wich wont support any thrust. the bearig got destroyed and cracked and let the mainshaft move up and down.
