I have a crx si with a b18a in it. I'm running 14" integra steelies with a 205 tire. What is this capable of for a 60ft. I'm getting like 2.6/2.5 but I feel it could be quicker. I've seen people go as low as 1.7 on drag radials so I figure a 2.2 or 2.1 shouldn't be impossible. Stock suspension with drop springs.

What do you guys think would be possible?

I pulled a 2.1 on bald 195 street tires.

 

I havent been doing any burn out, launching off a 2-step at 3500rpms. Dumping the clutch the car just spins for a second, wheel hops bad, then grabs. What do you guys think would be the best rpm to launch at (I know it's very general, but should I be at like 5k for launches?)

 

2.2 is good for regular DOT tires... 2.0 or better for DOT Drag Radials...

 

my best is 1.998 on BFG drag radails but usally 2.1

 

Where are you guys launching from? Is 3500rpm to low?

 

lauching at 4k-5k (depending on track conditions), i pull a 2.1-2.2 60' on es100's.

 

i launch at 3350 @ 4-5psi

 

I run 205/50/15 Toyo proxes T1R @ 16 to 17 psi and average 2.1 best is 2.03.
Launch at 6400 and feed the clutch till I feel the tyres (tires) really grip.
