umm... That high on a d16a6!?!?! you'd better hope that that engine's not stock!!!! The stock redline IS 6500 by the way! that's 2000 rpm above the safe RPM for the rods, valvesprings, etc! You'd better build that motor to take the abuse! Stock D16's are not know for their strength at high RPM (just look at the ZC's rep). Rev that high on a stock motor and watch a piston fly out of your hood.

I use the 90-91 pm6 ecu chipped with a gsr program. And it works better than My old pr3 ecu. I ran 14.72 with the pr3 and then I switch up and ran a 14.60 with the chipped pm6. But here is the catch you need to use a msd activator to activate the vtec. I set it at 5000rpm's

over reving on stock internals is cool for a 5 min then your valves stretch and your springs will stretch and or break. then HI HO!!!!!!!!! loss of compression dont do it

just because it says 8 500 rpm rev limit doesnt mean to go there. There is no rev limit on my PM6 but I only take it up to 8000rpm. its prepped for that high of rpms.. complete upgraded valvetrain.. retainers, valvesprings, etc.
