Default exhaust fitment

we put a new muffler on, ****, prolly a year ago when it had rust holes around it and just eventually broke off from the pipe. Well now the actual fibers inside the muffler are comming out of the exhaust like i ran over a brunett (*spelling) or something. Its created so much backpressure that the car takes litterally 2 minutes to get up to 55 mph. I figure since im getting ready for the gsr swap in the future with the suspension/rims already on, why not get a cat-back rather then paying 150 for a stock muffler.

i have a 94 civic sedan. I was looking for an Apexi or RS-R exhaust, but only found ones for the coupe. Would that fit, or whats different. Also are there any other cat-back's you recommend? Thanks alot for the help.

For 92-00 Civics the exhaust is the same for coupe and sedan. Most places probably just list coupes because they are more common. If money is tight Megan Racing cat-backs are great for the price (about $335)

Yes correct with the guy above... I orderd a Holley Thundermuff exhaust system from ebay... and when i bought it i had a 95 ex coupe then totalled it RIP, but then kept it and bought a 99 ex coupe and it fit perfectly! and sounds great I highly recommend it ...

priced at about $200! Nice smooth deep sound!

So the point is that it fit my 99 when It says it was ment for a 92-95 generation civic!
