Default lightweight flywheels

what is too light when it comes to flywheels? im looking for quicker revs but i dont want to compromise drivability to much. the most common weight ive seen was 9lbs.

I think the lightest I see is 8 lbs Fidanza, but maybe there is some other that I don't know of. 8 lbs should be fine.

i just recently put in my new fidanza 8 lb'er. like most other fidanza owners, i love it! there really isn't much difference between the stock 19 lber and the fidanza.

another fidanza guy here to preach about how much i love it! IMO it made a huge difference over stock. car felt a little quicker when i installed it, and the engine revs up and down quicker which makes for quicker upshifts and rev-matching downshifts.

honestly, i think if my fidanza was any lighter, i wouldnt like it. 12lbs is absolutely perfect for me. I can still launch the car without having to rev the **** out of it and the rev's dont drop quick like. My low end torque gained tremendously.

X2. I have seen a couple of aluminum Fidanza flywheels eaten up.

I recently installed a 12 lb ACT flywheel and I really like the difference, but it's also kind of subtle. I could go for one a little lighter.

I have the Jun flywheel that is 12lbs and I love it. It revs up quick and all the shifts are smooth.
