Default b16a intake manifold to a b18a/b head

i doing a b20 biuld up nonvtec, and i need to know would any b16 intake manifold would bolt up to a b18a/b nonvtec head, cuz mostly eveyone doing a b20 swap knows about the tall manifold it has, long runners meanin low end, i have a b18a manifold on it now, and power drops off at around 6000rpm, and i know the b16 will give me a chance at the 7500rpm range and with tuning a lil higher, not lookin to make alot of rpm, just lookin to make alot of room to have a large power band

well put it like this, im kinda new to this import thing been doing it for bout 3 or 4 years now, but im gettin itno it seriously, its fun, im a v-8 biulder, i know how to tune a carb and fuel injection is alright far as tunin capabilties, but carbs just make raw power, but im workin on a b20 with edelbrock intake with 150shot, but with our custom heads and cams, see what happens

oh yeah, if i used itb's i'd only use them on a auto cross car, tuning done with them to me prove they dont make the average power i need for drag racing

your tests brought back false evidence...ITB's are commonly used on POWERFUL naturally aspirated Honda's in DRAG RACING

u thinkitb's r powerful, most of thes drag engines make just a lilover 300whp, but if u really look at it, the work and tuning into these motors startin from 200whp, gainin 100hp with alot of money and tuning is not really impressive, itb's r nice but im a big carb tuner, with fuel injection fuel is sprayed into the port, at a fine mist, where as a carb setup, it just dumped in there, the carb set up take advantage of the port desighn because it fill the whole port with air and gas, fuel injection it dont, the only thing that take advantage of the port is air, fuel only comes in at the end of the port, the induction system power range will depend on the runner lenght, daimeter, and pleneum size, itbs, depends on air horn legnth and diameter, some ppl dotn realize u need even more fuel to make itbs work right, lets say u swap to itbs, and have stock injectors, u will lose power cuz itb need ore fuel bc of its increasin need of air, like lets say if u use a single plan carb u dont need alot of gas to make more topend power, im not gonna say itb's r crap, but like i said, if im lookin to make all out power i will use a carb set up over itb's, if u wanna know someone that uses this set up, bisi ezoria uses a twin weber side draft set up, and i think he makes the most power out of any all motor honda period. on a f22 sohc accord engine, nd i think theres another team called gude the had a d16 with carbs that runs mids 11, allmotor with the same set up, as a matter of fact i think bisi is on this site

If you've got a machine shop and all this other stuff then it should be pretty easy to weld b18 flanges to the b16 manifold. The ports and everything are spaced the same, just the flange is different.

i just wanted to do the basic swap, i was gonna weld up a gsr manifold to the head, but then i was thinkin of puttin the b16 manifodl up there, but now im thinkin whats the point they dont bolt up there, might as well go after market, now im thinkin of the edelbrock manifold, but i may biuld too engines one with fuel injection and the other with carb and see what i can do out of both
