blown b series?

Default blown b series?

Hi, i have a civic with a 99 b18c1, boosted...it puts out a moderate amount of white smoke when i get on it hard, has a wierd noise like sumthin is bagin against the block (not throw out bearing) at idle, and has 115 compression, wet tests show everything is ok, headgasket is ok...how can i fix this

thnx anyone else have any input...mechanic said complete engine rebuild...but all he did was run compression tests and i drove it home...didnt feel like it needs a 3000 rebuild

prob rod knock. If you keep driving it you find out in a few 100 miles or so it will get worse and make more noise you can drain the oil and look for metal in it.

Try not to drive it because it could blow up causing damage to the block making the problem worse. It may throw a rod through the block then you would have to buy a new block. If there is quite a bit of white smoke, then you more than likely have piston rings going out. Your problem isn't going to get better. Just try not to get over 3,000 rpms on all gears to ensure the motor doesn't blow up. Sorry about the bad luck. ( I know how it feels)

For less then that you could get forged internals in your engine.
