The only one that i have seen was just a carbon fiber overlay on the OEM top. A guy on ebay had it a while back but you can expect to pay out the *** for one. just like the carbon trunk...

 

almost prefer an overlay. have a hood and trunk, need the final piece if you know what i mean, all input welcome thanks

expletive overlay. The point of carbon fiber is to make it lighter. Get an ameripol glass top. theyre black, see thru (only from the inside) and 5 or 6 lbs lighter than stock, and probably about the same price as a cf top.

 

Watch out for the fitment on the Ameripol though. There was a group buy on Solsociety, and a lot of the people, including me, had problems about how the Ameripol fit. I think VIS might have some cf tops, not sure about the quality though. Good luck.

By glass top he meant it is actually a Plexiglass(or Lexan) type of material. Shaded much like the Targe tops for corvettes. And if I were in a rollover i would be happy with my aluminum top.

 

i know what a damn ameripool is, and dont really care. if i want to see the sky above me, i would just take the roof off. just looking for a damn carbon top. and yeah i would trust aluminum not fiberglass, and not saying the ameripool is fiberglass. carbon targa are a fiberglass shell thats why an overlay would be better. in my opinion. also checked vis's site and didnt locate a top.

 

Dude chill. I was just trying to clarify because it seemed like you thought the ameripool top was fiberglass.(I will expound on that if necessary) If you want one so bad go get one custom fabbed.
