Default Rolled the Element! **accident**

**edit** pics posted (photobucket)

no pics of the actual scene...was taken away in an ambulance, but i took pics of it sitting in the tow yard. i was driving with my wife last night when it happened.

made a very crude diagram in pshop...we were stopped at a red light, waiting to turn right. car 1 attempts a left turn in heavy rush hour traffic, car 2 sees car 1, swerved to avoid car 1 and hit car 1, and then t-boned us. car 1 sighted for the cause of accident, as it was not safe to turn (hence why i was still sitting at the light waiting to make a right). car 2 hit us hard and rolled us onto the passenger side of the element. i must say the honda took it pretty well given the speeds involved. we're okay though, just VERY sore.

the back hatch is opening hard, every panel on the right is dented, right side wheels are scratched to hell, hood is out of line, and the left side isn't much better. when our car flipped, car 2 was pressed into the bottom of our car (which my element is 4wd, so who knows what damage may be done the the drivetrain as well.

For getting t-boned and rolled, that Element looks nearly flawless. Glad you two got out ok.

i'm hoping they total it.....it's pretty extensive. the pics don't really show how badly damaged the passenger side is.

Wow, I can't believe the airbags didn't deploy.(does not look like it from the pictures )My wife was hit at about 20mph on the driver side bumper and airbags also didn't deploy. I'm surprised since your car fliped on it's side. looks like alot of damage to me . They may total it.

when it rolled, we rolled into grass. the fenders are damaged though.....look at the metal part above the plastic wheel well piece up front. every single piece on the passenger side is dented or badly scraped.

speed limit on the road they were on is 55mph, traffic moves at 60mph though. he clipped the front of car 1, which didn't take away much momentum.....50mph maybe when he hit me? i know he didn't hit the brakes though, no skid marks at all

Man that really sucks. Glad you're both ok though and they cited the right person for the accident.
