i'm installing an inline fuel pump and don't know where the fuel pump relay is. I cant find it in the Haynes manual either. is it in the fuses box under the dash or out side in the engine compartment and what does it look like. the car is a 91 crx si.

 

its under the dash on the driver's side 'wall' or whatever...look under there..its up pretty high and is a bitch to get out

 

I had to replace a relay in my sisters teg. it sucked and i couldnt find a replacement. Back to your problems. Its under the driverside dash, and a word of experience push it up to get it out. It will on the relay what it is. Good luck.

 

 

do you the pump up at the relay or at the fues box.

 

What does it look like?

 

It's about 1.5x2x2.5 inches, with about 7 wires on it. It's the larger one just above the hood release lever.

 

also called "main" relay or "pgm-fi" relay.
