92 JDM h22a IDLE PROBLEM!!!!!!!
i have a 92 h22a in my 96 accord when im idlein or warming up my car the idle jumpes form 500 to 3000k over n over until i drive it then when i take it out for a spin the idle jumps 500 to 2000k. ive tried cleaning the iac valve and my throttle body but that doesnt seem to hlep. im not sure but when i wiggle my map sensor wires sometimes i get a good steady idle but then when i drive it around it goes back to the messed up idle..... i was woundering can it be my radiator fulid .maybe i didnt balance out the coolant very well?????

I had a very similar problem, when I changed my thermostat. Turned out to be air in the coolant system. Jack the front end up all the way - WAY UP and let it idle with the cap off. Or jack up the rear a little and open the bleeder valve. You may have to work the lower radiator hose a bit with your hands. And make sure you have coolant in the overflow.
Mine did that when my IACV fell off, but it revved to 4k over and over. I've heard similar problems due to a MAP sensor too, unplug it, then plug it back in to reestablish the connection. It's the plug connected to the side of the throttle body. Make sure the two 12mm bolts holding on the IACV are tight, they're right on the front of the intake manifold, you can't miss it.
