Default how to uninstall valves,retainers??

ok im disassembling my gsr head an how i do take out my valves an retainers

first you need a vavle spring compressor. Maybe a pocket screwdriver with a magnet on the end of it. Compress the springs and remove the retainers and slide the valves out. Pretty easy. Use the magnetic end and pull the keys out when the spring is compressed.

I think you can rent the spring compressor from parts stores?

Why are you disassemling your head for?

OK now all you have to do is like crx1.8 said

Compress the spring using the tool
Use a magnet (usually a small pocket screwdriver with the magnet opposite end works best) to get out the two small valve keepers from the valve.
Once those are out you can uncompress the spring
Then the spring will come off and the valve will drop out.

ok does the tool have to all the way down on the spring cause its barley catching the spring ?? or is the good enough

I usually take a 17mm socket, place it on top of the spring, and smack it with a hammer. Apart it comes.

They fly up into the socket then fall down into the head. Using a magnet you get them out. Easy peasy.
