for that severe of a drop you want to replace the springs and the shocks at the same time. I dropped my accord 1.5 in the rear and 1.75 in the front with H&R sports, but left the stock shocks on. Shocks were dead within 6 months. Rule of thumb: if you are increasing your spring rate ( getting lowering springs, which are stiffer) you must increase the rebound rate of the shock (get Konis). If you don't get new shocks, the springs bounce the hell out of the internals of the stock shocks, as well as bring the shock outside of its nominal operating travel. Koni's optimal operating range is the entire travel of the shock, and with the Yellow's adjustability, they can be tuned to correctly damper the motion of just about any spring.
