Timing/TDC Question!!!!!
Scenerio A: I picked up a 94 lude with a 01 H22 swap already in it...the car runs with no check engine lights, it kinda bogs before hitting vtec thru all gears, but even after it hits vtec...i can hear it, but the car doesn't pull as hard, still feels normal, it just screams a lot louder, i check the timing, with a timing gun today, and i see a white mark on the fly wheel, its its almost an inch before the metal piece that looks like this (>----) meaning closer to the firewall.
1. Where should that little mark be when the car is idling?
Scenerio B: (Same Car) The TDC Sensor on the crank is not plugged into the engine harness, i cann't find a place to plug it into. 98vtec told me that sensor i think tells the dizzy when to fire........
2. Does it matter if its hooked up or not? Car has no check engine lights.......
