I have a question...
When it really comes down to it, are you going to listen to what everyone else says. I say drive both, feel them out, and get what YOU want...

just got a civic hatchback and i love it.. my friend had a del sol and i dont know if it was just me or not.. but i felt a little weird in it... maybe its just to small for me ?? but good luck with whatever you choose

i doubt that. its possible you feel uncomfortable because you may not like tight spaces but I'm 6'3" and Im extremely comfortable in my sol.
civics and sols are practically the same. get whichever is more appealing to you physically, because on the inside theyre the same car with the same potential (for the most part).

I'm 6'2" and I didn't fit very well in my Del Sol. If your smaller then I am, get one. They hold up better in a roll(with the top on). My buddy rolled his 5 times without a seatbelt and didnt really have a scratch on him. And he walked away from it all.
Personally, I loved my EK and now I have an EG.. I say Civic.

My brother had a Del Sol and I too thought it felt "a bit small" and I am not that big of a guy 225# 6 foot.
I would vote Civic but like others said try em and see.

dude im 6'2 and i love my del solthey are actually like the same weight as a civic so dont let someone say there alot lighter cause there 2 seaters, but i love my sol i got a vtec model but pulled out the b16 and dropped in a built b20vtec i think i like it
