Default bosal stainless exhaust, SEARCHED!!

okay when I was going through the thread for exhaust photos I saw this and it was one of those pictures that u know right away that it is the one and only for your car. It makes me hate every other exhaust.

It is labeled as a "Bosal Stainless with thermal tip".

I searched google for 2 hours trying to find this exhaust for my 88 rex si. All i can find is the one that is a striaght can with a dinky little pipe for a tip. Ugly. Please tell me where to find this exhaust, or better yet, if you have one for sale, let me know. thanks!!

They are a cheap made exhaust. That company make several direct replacement exhaust and we see about 50% back with a crack or issue that we have to send them back.

I have a BOSAL/DYNOMAX/MAGNAFLOW muffler you can have for $60.00 plus shipping which won't be too much. BOSAL, DYNOMAX/and MAGNAFLOW are the same mfg. I had this on my EF sedan which will match to your CRX or HATCH. You can as what I did is find a thermal exhaust tip from a good import speed shop or if your lucky at a muffler shop. I have all paperwork so that you keep the warranty, which is life time.

The muffler has a nice deep throaty note to it and is quiet at driving or cruising speed, but gets loud at WOT or take off. Doesn't sound like a fart can...not a fan of those.

it seems as if the only thing you like is the tip, the exhaust itself can be bought from several different factories and it will look like the one in the picture. i have a magnaflow and it doesnt sound too bad, after 4k its raspy though

also, do you guys think I should take up EFSS#17's offer and get dual tips? I would love to give my cash to a fellow HT member!

of course you should...heh heh..honetly though..I have nothing but good things to say about this muffler. I removed mine only because i'm an older guy with kids and the Mrs. isn't too crazy about the noise...so I went quieter...like stock quiet...no more speed for me.

That exhaust set up does look clean! I check harbor freight and couldn't find anything like that at all - does anyone have any other sources to get that set up?
