can I use a 97 ex distributor with a p28 ecu?

Default can I use a 97 ex distributor with a p28 ecu?

I have a d16y8 head. however, I want to convert to obd1. can I use a 97 distributor? 88 si distributor? or do I HAVE to use the obd1 distributor?

You can use the 97 EX distributor with the P28. The 88 Si distributor however, will not work.
