AC Not Working.
I was eating lunch and it was pretty hot outside- maybe 105*. So i leave, turn on my ac as usual and its blowing cold- as usual. I went to press the sunroof button, dont ask, and accidnetly hit the cruise control button than turned it off instantly. Ever since that my ac isn't blowing cold. I checked all fuses that could somehow be related. I searched and came up with checking the heater valve cable but i have no idea where that is located. I dont think it needs freeon since it was blowing really cold right before it went out. any ideas?
wanna come down to texas and drive a car with no ac, a black car with no ac, in about 100degree wether and the humidity...i'll stop there. I just wanna get it fixed- its my daily driver- i aint about to save weight on the thing.
I would first start with easy things, like checking to see if your belt isn't slipping or anything like that.. then move on to things like is my compressor cycling on/off or not turning on at all.. if those come up working as intended, take it to a shop and have them check your ac system's pressure for the R134.. they might need to do a vaccum test and a recharge.. good luck Pvt. checked the ac components, belt is spinning, compressor seems to be working, fan is turning on when the ac button is pressed. I checked one of the lines towards the front passenger side to see if there was any freeon flowing through, it was empty. Can freeon run out in a split second? ive had an ac slowly stop cooling, but this just stopped so fast. anyways taking it tomorrow. hope they dont rip me off- since ac is in high demand when the temp is constant 95 or higher

could have possibly sprung a leak i guess and drained it all out. I just had to get my AC fixed and had all the same things working you mentioned to and still had to end up 1) getting a leak fixed. 2) replacing the AC pressure switch. 3) replace AC pressure switch relay. 4) replace AC expansion valve and 5) add more freon. I ended up paying like 500 bucks in parts and labor to fix all this
I sincerely hope yours doesn't turned out as fucked as mine did. Good luck.
