Default Hit an armadillo last night going 60+ MPH! (pics)

So I was coming home last night at around midnight, goin down SR54 doin about 60, and I see a big *** armadillo right in the center of my lane just sittin there.

Now, my car sits about 5" off the ground and this bastard was about a foot tall. I let off the gas but didn't brake because I knew I could only get to about 55 before I woulda hit it and I didn't want my front end to dip lower and leave any more damage.

Also, I didn't wanna be that jackass that totals his car in a ditch so a small creature can live a little longer, so I just went straight and hoped for the best. Not so...

BTW my paint is less a month old, Titanium Silver Metallic (BMW 3-series color)

Not as much blood as I excpected but the fiberglass holding the lip on is EFFED! And my intercooler is kinda dented you can see in the pics:

Front End

Lip and Intercooler

Broken Lip

Left

Right

Far Right

I am either gonna fix this crappy POS plastic Mugen lip or get a CF VIS lip, this sucks...
Car is still coming together still waiting on wheels, 98-01 rear bumper, and gonna cut out the grill, this kinda sets me back tho

had this happen to a friend, except when he swerved he crashed into parked cars... sometimes i say i rather hit them then mess up my car, but i guess its just instinct, you dont want to hit a perfectly innocent animal..

accident sucks though, did you get any pics of the 'dillo?

Good choice of not trying to miss it

I'm one of the dumbasses that has swerved because Of dumb animals and rolled my car 3 times because of it.
