Why does the CEL disappear when I wrap tin foil around the O2 sensor in my test pipe? If I weld a tube around the O2 senosr so the hot gases aren't touching the O2 will the CEL stay off? Anyone know what happens when you take out the O2 and attach it on the outside of the pipe?

Why does the CEL disappear when I wrap tin foil around the O2 sensor in my test pipe?
It's because the tin foil blocks the brain waves that the aliens transmit to our cars from outer space.
