Honda-Tech has the most members, and I always get decent replies, but the search feature plain sucks. I've spent hours on search... sometimes I'll search a word, it will tell me "no results found", and I'll find it in a title on the next page of a sub-forum! WTF? anway...

I've seen this information on the board, but I can't find it now... what year S2000's had the steering wheel with the compatible airbag for a 96-00 Civic? I belive it's a two-wire connector?

Does anyone know?

I can't seem to source a CTR wheel (in EC) for less than $500, but you can get S2k wheels from junkyards here....

You should try ebay for the CTR wheel. It shouldn't go over 425.

I haven't heard of anyone with an S2000 wheel NOT being able to connect the airbag. The only airbag issues I have heard of are with the USDM RSX wheel.

 

I can get a brand new S2K airbag for ~$440. A rim can be had from the junkyard for about $100.

That's still more than I want to spend.

Anyway, I thought I read something about only the AP0's have compatible airbags... someone correct me if I'm wrong.

 

S2K wheel has a different airbag plug no matter what year s2k it is.
