98 lude just installed short ram, and doesnt seem to be fitting right. says right part # but the filter doesnt have as much room as it seems it should. own 99 teg gsr and have intake and have no problem with clearance. anyone have pics or same problem. just want to see pics of other ludes with same part.

 

yea i had a hard time fitting my filter, and when i did get it in it was rubbing against my headlight wires, so i cut the intake about 2-2.5 inches in the front, fits much better

 

thanks man kinda BS for it to be set up like that when it is supposed to be a bolt on.
