when I go to start my car it never starts on the first try. I'll run the starter for 2 or 3 seconds then stop and it usually starts after that. It only does this when the engine is cold if I turn the car off and start it again it starts fine. Got a new battery, no difference, new fuel filter and the same thing. Maybe a problem in cap,rotor,wires, plugs? my haynes said something about a cold start injector. Any help appreciated

Is there anyone out there? I search the FAQ but couldn't really find what I was looking for.maybe the starter is going bad? I don't know . Help

 

would low compression cause this problem? car runs fine otherwise
