Default Dyno'd the ITR today...

Was at a car show, had the cash, so I just figured I would do 2 pulls.

My car is completely stock except for an AEM CAI.

They are decent numbers, average for a stock ITR. Just thought I would share my findings with you guys.

My air/fuel ratio got all the way to 10.9 though at 8400. Is this rich or is this normal for stock ITR's?

I need a new air filter too. It's pretty dirty and I believe it might of affected my Intake air temperature because that read 99.7. So I would like to get a new air filter and see if I might be able to hit the 160 mark.

No way close to 170-185. Maybe a dc5 R but all I have found for the dc2 R states that my numbers were average.

Get a chipped obd1 ecu solution and have the car tuned

Your AFR is more or less in line. My brothers baseline on his DC5 ITR did 11 AFR at around 8200 rpm. Pretty rich and conservative if you ask me. And I always thought running too rich was also bad.

207 on mustang dyno at 8800!
dc2-r stock motor 97 spec. 01 JDM header/test pipe.
your numbers seem low, change your oil/filter and check your plugs.
what kinda dyno was it?
you put 89 octane in it that day or something?

I don't believe 207, especially for a stock car. Unless it wasn't corrected and at the flywheel.

Maybe that Mustang Dyno reads like a DynaPack?

The numbers seem fine considering how rich it's running on the top end. Get it tuned for 13.0-13.5 across the board I'm sure you'll be at the 165whp mark with ease.

The numbers seem just right. A/F's are a bit rich at higher rpm's, which will keep the hp #'s lower than another car at 13:1 a/f's.

And he also mentioned that his car is stock with stock header, cat and exhaust.

And the air temp will play a verry big role in how much hp you make.

Looking at the torque numbers in the lower rpm's will tell you that the car has potential, even with no other bolt on's. The torque starts right where it should ( about 100 wtq ) and it keeps climbing. But it has a nasty dip in the mid range, where it could benefit from some tuning.

IMHO its right where it should be for an itr with aem cai.

He also mention that the intake air temp was reading at 99 degress. Thats really hot. Running that rich might have also have something to do with. I deal with **** like this all the time living in florida.

They look just fine with me. My signature contains the dyno plot of a stock ITR as well, for your comparison and contrast.

I personally wouldnt worry a bit.

You can make a dyno show almost any number you want; here's my B18C5/B16A mongrel with I/H/E on a DynoDynamics:

And to the OP, I wouldn't worry too much about the peak numbers, that particular Dynojet could just be calibrated to read low; however, the midrange portion of your plot looks pretty weak even for a stock B18C5 - I'm not sure if your AEM is the cause of that or not.
