Default crx ready for LS *Pics*

I pulled the engine yesterday on my 91 CRX. As you can see in the pics, the B series mounts are in and waiting for the B18A1 from my 91 integra 4 door. I actually don't get the integra until thursday so I'll update this project on thursday with pics.

On a side note, what times do you guys think I'll be hitting at the track. I'll be running:

* 1 seat and very little interior
* It's a DX model
* Slicks
* Coilovers already installed
* Stock LS bottom end with block guard
* Blox intake manifold
* OBX stage 2 cams
* T3/T4 57 trim
* 3 inch turbo downpipe to shorty side exit exhaust
* 111 octane race gas
* 50 shot on NX wet kit
* Dyno tuned

I would change the bottom end and build it up.

BTW, you'll also need the stabilizer shaft that go to the tranny and mounts on the back of the block where teg axles will fit and hubs for both sides. Remove the dust covers on the hubs also.

You using the CRX ECU? Wrong, gotta use the tegs ECU, motor harness and inside harness, and the shifter from the teg needs to be shortened by some 1 3/8 inch.

Also, there is a clearence issue with the alternator. It'll hit the inside of the frame rail on the drivers side, beat the hell out of the frame rail for about 3" making it 1/2" deep depression for it to work.

It's late and my mind is fried. Enuf for tonight.

HTH

Thanks Donnie. Someone was just telling me that. I will be getting a 91 integra LS on thursday which will be the donor car. It's in perfect working condition with a low mileage engine in it and only 128,000 on the odometer. I actually feel kinda guilty about stripping it down to build up the CRX. I watch MTV true life "I'm a Street Racer" at least once a week. Seeing what Eugene does with his all motor 4 door 91 integra makes me wanna keep it and put money into it.

But then again I've gone through the trouble of buying the CRX and pulling the engine. HMMMMMM????? What to do? (Thinking)

The 91 integra has AC and the turbo manifold/downpipe are both made to accomidate the LS with AC. I guess I have a big decision to make by thursday.

Its called an intermediate shaft. Since the car is a DX he doesnt need to change the hubs either.

When we did this swap in my 91 DX I used the stock DX harness and rewired for MPFI...

they look like the Skunk 2's. I baught the car like this. Not real sure.

Thanks for the offer. I might be hitting you up especailly if we hit any snags. These older integra's have a lot more clutter under the hood than the 94-01. I'm not sure what needs to be kept on to make the ECU happy.

</TD></TR></TABLE>Not sure if you read my post but you do not need to change anything out from the engine bay. You simply need to retain your engine harness and add hte wires for MPFI as well as extending a few, etc. This swap is not that hard.

If you are already mpfi then the motor will be plug and play, I ran low 15s with an LS in my 91 CRX Si (On the walmart special tires, slicks will be much better), should have been in the high 14s after a needed tune up and timing fixed, with the T3 .60/.63 at 9psi it is damn fast probably atleast mid 13s now once i get a tune i am turning it up to probably 14-16psi what ever gets me close to 300hp and then looking for mid 12s, you should be alteast there with your build, i ditch that block gaurd its only going to hurt, they don't really do anything, the cyliders need strength in the middle not the top

Also hope the OBX cams are ment for turbo since i think stage 2 NA cams will actually hurt you with boost
