I like my civic hatch, i wanted to go for a swap but its really expensive and time consuming. but really, honda's are expensive as fudge to make fast. even if i swap in a LS ill still be slow...liw 15's it's rediculous. i just decided im not goin to waste my money and pay 4grand and still get smoked by stock eclipeses and wat not? does anyone else feel the same? everyone is swapping, but to even compete u need turbo too...damn honda sure made alot of loot

 

how about type r swap.. all motor..
LS turbo.. with just 250+whp... in a EG6.. I doubt a stock eclipse will even see you... well, they can watch you take off... haha

Hatch no motor - $3000
Ls Motor- $2000
Drag3 turbo kit -$3000

That setup runing 7psi and you will be smoking alot of cars on the road. Build the engine for another $2-3k and you have a 10/11 sec car for around 10k. To me thats preety damn good.

 

custom a turbo kit if you may... since if you are not running major boost (over 12psi).. many things are give or take...

my target is 230+250whp... hopefully, I will find a way to do that... for around 2gs..

I say just keep saving for a B18C5... it may take you some time to get it but in the end i'm sure you'll be glad you did it IMO.
